Yes, in reply to bekah's spam, I've decided to update you all what I've been doing this holidays! I was involved in 2 productions: Emperor's New Clothes, as well as SPLAT! Musical Picking up the pieces.
Great crew and inspiring characters. AND for SPLAT! i actually penned a song for the show (which was about youths-at-risk and giving chances) and aptly named it, "Second Chances". I wish I could upload the version I have now, but I feel it'll do both the song and the arranger (AUGUST LUM - i wonder if you google your name,... we'll see) terrible injustice. I love the song cuz I always wanted to write songs that actually MEANT something for some people, and when I saw the beloved students singing this song, i almost cried. I swear i'm gonna pay some MONAY$ (this is for you, JC and AR) and record the vocals properly in the studio :D
The next thing I was really busy with, which played a big part in the BIG BANG on my face was the releasing of a buddhist album for Karma Kargyud Buddhist Centre. It was a great learning journey on this on, I got to work with some of the people I've always wanted to work with, I stressed over an entire project but still felt happy at the same time...
Alas, its all over.
Now, looking back at every crazy project I've taken up this hols, I feel like as if they've barely touched me. The memories are less poignant now, almost as if I'm a totally different person now that school has started.
The PEOPLE however, I remember :)
